The following applications have been developed for your DOVADO PRO (or 4GR/UMR) router by DOVADO along with the help of creative and talented individuals outside our company who have contributed their time and effort. Below, you can find various alternatives that are available today for handheld mobile and desktop devices. The primary purpose of these apps is to provide you a quick and easy means of:
• Accessing the router's statistics from anywhere in the world.
• Executing Home Automation tasks (learn more on www.dovado.com/automation).
• Mapping the geographic presence of your router (i.e: if it's a moving vehicle).

Description: Gives your Windows desktop a quick access to your router's statistics as well as a quick means of executing Home Automation tasks along with the convenient ability to add/remove/edit any of your Home Automation aliases. The DOVADO Remote Control application (for iPhone and Android) has been designed to control the DOVADO 4GR and UMR routers. To simplify the setup, we have put together a mechanism within the app which allows you to quickly enable the LAN side of the Remote Management within your DOVADO 4GR or UMR. However, this will only provide you with the ability to take control of the router locally from within the same wireless network as the router. This mechanism will·not enable access from a different location when using a 3G or different WLAN connection on your phone. To do so, we have put together this guide, which shows how to enable Remote Management over the Internet (WAN), as well as how to create an account with a Dynamic DNS service that will allow you to access your router by a memorable hostname (in our example shown below, we name it "dovado.is-found.org") instead of a constantly renewed IP address. Step 1: Enable Remote Management in your DOVADO router as shown below. Step 2: Create an account on www.dyndns.org Step 3: Add New Hostname on www.dyndns.org Step 4: Enable Dynamic DNS in your DOVADO router as shown below. Make sure to restart your router after applying these changes. Step 5: Enter your router's Dynamic DNS as hostname. This can be used regardless of whether your smartphone is located inside or outside your home's network. "I followed all the instructions, yet I still cannot connect from outside my home. What am I doing wrong?" Check that your operator allows "port-forwarding" and provides a public IP address. One way to do that is to try to surf into the remote management Web interface of your router from your phone or from a computer outside your network. • Android App:
