Four ways to upgrade!

With each new firmware release, there are four alternative methods to upgrade the router. You can use a Windows PC, Apple Mac (OS X), or any other operating system or device containing a web browser. As of firmware 6.2.0, it is possible to upgrade the router without the use of computer whatsoever. It can be done directly in the router’s administration menu, allowing you to log in with a smartphone or tablet computer. The firmware will be downloaded straight from our servers using a method called Live Firmware Upgrade. Simply click and wait for it to begin the three minute upgrade process.

Should anything go wrong with your firmware upgrade (causing you to no longer being able to access the router), then use a computer to run the Rescue functionality located in the Win/OS X DOVADO Firmware Utility located below.
