DOVADO introduces a new range of products for the Wireless Broadband market.
These products are specially delivered to work with a long list of wireless technologies while introducing new features to fit an exciting era in communications.
Extra steps to ensure operator manageability from a central location are available through the DOVADO Gateway Manager (DGM).
Additionally, there is a new means of connecting towards the Wireless Broadband Network by hosting a PC-Card (PCMCIA) slot in its “W”-series of devices (WRG & WXR models).
This method will allow the subscriber to use any wireless broadband technology, at any given frequency by inserting a PC-Card modem.
The DOVADO products are upgradeable to allow the latest standards such as EDGE, 3G/UMTS (FDD&TDD), iBurst, HSDPA, FLASH-OFDM® and WiMAX (802.16e) when available.WRG - Wireless Residential Gateway Interfaces: PCMCIA WWAN, LAN, WiFi and Telephony WXR - Wireless Access Router Using a PC-card as backhaul, the WXR is intended for home, office or public deployment of WiFi hotspots, utilizing any form of wireless broadband technologies. The WXR is a technology-adaptable and compact solution for a rapid and mass-deployment of WiFi. Mobile operators would be able to deploy WiFi without utilizing any wired backhaul such as Cable, DSL or Ethernet access networks, offering a very cost-efficient access solution.
