Following the successful market entry during the past two years of the DOVADO USB Mobile Broadband Router (UMR), DOVADO has launched a successor to continue the legacy of the full-featured product line; the DOVADO 4GR.
The DOVADO 4GR inherits several years of development in 3G mobile broadband, beginning with support for over 100 different USB modems currently offered worldwide, where eight of which are 21Mbps capable. In addition to mobile broadband, the DOVADO 4GR offers a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port for routing Internet traffic towards the multiple Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, making it the fastest residential Fixed & Mobile broadband router for its affordable retail price class. To cover the high speed local wireless (WLAN) speed requirements, the DOVADO 4GR provides 802.11N air interfaces with speeds of up to 300Mbps; which is ideal for streaming heavy media content throughout a home environment.
Not only is the DOVADO 4GR a very price-competitive product which fulfills the gap between USB modem and local area network, the DOVADO 4GR is also simple to configure and resilient in its stability and performance. The DOVADO 4GR provides round-the-clock connection with the help of the DOVADO Connection TrackerTM functionality, as one would experience with fixed broadband. In addition to this, the DOVADO 4GR has also inherited all the unique attributes of the DOVADO UMR, which includes Home Automation, GPS Tracking, SMS Remote Control, SMS Event & Consumed Internet Traffic Notification and 3rd Party Application Remote Control (API).
Echoing the company tradition, the DOVADO 4GR is firmware upgradeable in order to remain competitive and useful for a longer period than any other competing products available in the market. Such firmware updates are available for free from DOVADO’s website, and include support for new USB modems, enhancements and exciting, eye-opening features.
